Hi. I'm Deep Sleep.

I attach to the CB2 receptors of your endocannabinoid system to bring your mind and body to a state of homeostasis, a state of balance. I soothe racing thoughts, relax your muscles by interacting with your TRPV1 receptors, and tell your body to release the sleepy chemicals. I'm an insomniac's best friend.

Primary Terpenes

Myrcene: dubbed by scientists as an 'insomniac's best friend', myrcene acts as a potent sedative and muscle relaxant. Current research suggests that myrcene's narcotic properties arise from its interaction with opioid receptors. Myrcene also acts upon TRPV1 receptors, a primary component that regulates inflammation and pain sensitivity.

Linalool: linalool is an excellent remedy for insomnia, one trialled and tested through thousands of years of human use. Linalool is the primary therapeutic component of lavender. Multiple double-blind studies confirm a significant influence on quality and duration of sleep without causing any unwanted sedative or other drug specific effect.

B-Caryophyllene: BCP has the unique quality of being both a terpene and a cannabinoid. Like CBD, b-caryophyllene attaches to CB2 receptors in the endocannabinoid system, responsible for maintaining homeostasis and up-regulating endocannabinoid deficiencies. BCP imbues powerful anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) effects, especially useful for reducing anxious racing thoughts and facilitating restful sleep.

Nerolidol: nerolidol is known as the 'utilitarian' terpene - it's therapeutic applications are considerably varied, but it is best known for its sedative and relaxant properties

D-Limonene: Limonene may function as an anti-depressant, and is a proven mood elevator and stress reliever. Limonene promotes serotonin availability, and acts upon adenosine receptors to prompt the release of dopamine.
Limonene stimulates the immune system, and has neuroprotective qualities that aid in memory retention and focus. Cannabis strains such as ‘Lemon-Diesel’ and ‘White Fire’ are rich in limonene, which are known for their unique euphoric and creative effects.

Beta-Pinene: Pinene is a neuroprotective agent that increase alertness, aids memory retention, and has anti-depressant and anxiolytic qualities. Pinene works closely with Linalool and Limonene to provide synergistic effects.
